A third workshop on global e-health was conducted prior to the U21 Health Sciences annual meeting. The workshop comprised an afternoon of 'hands-on' sessions on the practical aspects of telehealth and a second day comprising presentations, reports and opportunities for discussion on e-health developments including telehealth and the U21 Health Sciences/Swinfen Charitable Trust initiative, e-health policy, professional portability and internationalism, and examples and challenges in e-health and e-education.
